January - Garnet/Siam: comes from Latin word 'Granatus' which means polmegranate with lots of seeds; represents love, success, glory, friendship and truth
February - Amethyst: represent peace of mind and deligence; believed to provide unity between man and God
Marhch - Aquamarine: represent youth, happiness, hope, calmness and health; some believe it brings with it many friends; some also believe wearing an its earring helps find the lover of life
April - Diamond/Crystal: comes from Greek word 'Adamas' which means unconquerable; believed ice from long ago have changed its form to rock to become diamond; a mother cured her child who was suffering from dehydration by giving honey water with diamond in it--was a must for woman to wear it; also represents success and victory--therefore was placed in middle of king's crown; believed to bring wealth and luck
May - Emerald: represents beauty of our grand nature; favored most by Cleopatra; believed to bring forever love and power to look into future; makes people become honest and stop wasting which in turn will bring wealth
June - Pearl/Lt. Amethyst: represents health, long life, and wealth
July - Ruby: comes from Latin "Rubrum' which means red; represents passion; mysterious rock that symbolizes sun, therefore, thought to bring blessings of health and wealth; wearing its ring on left finger believed to provides freedom from enemy, thereby bringing peace of mind; brings courage, and provides protection from harm
August - Peridot: represents happy marriage and strong friendship;once believed as a gift from sun to man so one can be freed from fear, darkness, worry, and nightmare; man wear it on left, woman on right for protection
September - Sappahire: comes from Latin word 'Sapphirus' and represents generosity, truth, deligence, and respect
October - Opal: represents innocence and is known as the Cupid's rock; comes from Greek word 'Opallios' meaning precious rock
November - Topaz: represents friendship, hope, and innocence
December - Turquoise/Lt. Sapphire: represents luck, success, strength, wisdom and love; helps ease troubled mind, especially when it is received as a gift from someone else; Tibetians still believes in its power to bring luck, health and protection from disease and evil; used in various religious ceremonies
